Finley Pfardrescher

Student

Finley Pfardrescher is a sophomore at the University of Mississippi, where he is studying Business Management. An active Delta Tau Delta fraternity member, he enjoys engaging in social activities and community service projects. Through his involvement with the fraternity, he works to give back to the university and surrounding community while building leadership skills and fostering strong relationships with his peers.

Before attending college, Finley was a dedicated athlete, excelling in competitive diving. He was a member of the Dallas Metroplex Diving team throughout high school and was the team’s captain. He set multiple school records, including impressive scores in the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard events. His personal bests, such as a score of 232 in the 1-meter, 6-dive event and 320.4 in the 1-meter, 10-dive event, demonstrated both his technical expertise and consistency in competition. He participated in cross-fit and weight training to support his diving goals, focusing on improving his strength and overall fitness. These experiences shaped his disciplined approach to both sports and academics.

Finley was born in 2004 and grew up in McKinney, Texas, as the oldest of two brothers. His younger brother, Hayes, is currently a senior in high school. Raised by his parents, Jason and Doris Pfardrescher, he has always been encouraged to pursue his interests passionately and enthusiastically. His family has been a constant source of support, helping him maintain a strong work ethic and fostering his love for learning and personal growth.

In high school, Finley was involved in more than just athletics. He contributed to the school’s broadcast news network, covering local news stories and school events. He was also active in theater and appeared in multiple school plays. His passion for the arts expanded when he acted in an independent film titled Dear Leo, where he played the role of Jared M. This experience in cinema allowed him to develop his communication and acting skills, which have continued to benefit him in his college life.

Now at Ole Miss, Finley remains focused on his academics while continuing to pursue his love for diving. He is also a founding member of the Ole Miss Car Club, participating in car shows and related events. Looking toward the future, he plans to pursue an internship at Well Go USA, a film distribution company. With a solid academic background and diverse interests, he is determined to continue growing personally and professionally.
